Warren Segraves Residence.
This was a nine week studio I participated in during the summer of 2011. Five other students and I documented in both drawing and written form the house of a Fayetteville, Arkansas native architect who practiced in the 1960s and 1970s. Most of his works held similar ideologies as did the Case Study Houses of the West Coast. His personal residence demonstrates strong relations to these Case Studies. After intensive research, multiple visits to the residence, hundreds of photos and measurements, the six of us compiled 16 pages of drawings and 15 pages of written documentation about the house and its architect. This was sent to the Historic Architecture Building Society in Washington D.C. where it is now published within the Library of Congress. Below, you can find both the written and drawn documentation. This entire project was a joint-group effort.
